Greetings from Killington!
You say March, we say more turns, skiers and riders. Spring training at The Beast is well underway as we dust off the grills, load up the events calendar, and get ready for soft snow and sunshine ahead. With temperatures warming and trail counts up for the weekend (thanks, Mother Nature!), now's the time.
The Weekend Outlook
The Mountain Operations team has been busy this week. We're serving up a fresh build on Dream Maker from K-town Showdown and some brand new bumps on Outer Limits (BMMC is on its way, after all), and that's just the beginning. 140+ trails are out there waiting for you; get the latest from the conditions report.
If you're looking for the best of small mountain charm, Pico Mountain rolls into the weekend with 100% of their big mountain terrain. Go get it.
Spring, Straight from the Top
We'll say it to you straight -- this season has been one for the books. Between rain events and polar vortices, we've been making turns through it all and there's more where that came from. Get the latest on snowmaking, and Superstar skiing into spring from Jeff Temple, Director of Mountain Operations.
Admit One: Parties, Podiums, Passes and More
The Killington Spring Pass is out in the wild, complete with all the turns you can handle from March 15, 2014, through closing day for just $199. Pick up discounted lift tickets for our NOR'BEASTER Life is good Festival, register for an inaugural piece of Slash and Berm, and we'll save you a seat at the Umbrella Bars.
Love snow? Like talking about it? You probably won't want to miss this.
