'Tis the season for cocktails on ice and food that's nice, and from smoked meats to fresh-baked treats, the Beast is pulling out all the stops to satiate your appetite -- and not just that powder craving (though let's face it, we've got that, too). We're busting out the best of food, fun and fantastic terrain -- who needs elves making magic when you've got Killington Ops?
And for more on that food -- like char-grilled Angus beef for lunch at Ovations, fresh pasta at the Peak, smoothie stations and artisan cheeses in Snowshed Lodge, etc. -- check out what's new from Scott Harrison, our Director of Hospitality.
The Weekend Outlook
Hope you like your terrain big, snowy, and with more choices than a New Jersey diner menu, because that's what the Beast's dishing up for the holiday week.
We've opened our first glades of the season, miles of terrain at Pico Mountain, and Bear Mountain, too, all in the past week. And if you know our snowmakers, you know they just can't stop, so look for expanded terrain down to Skyeship Base for the weekend (including gondola service on the key lift schedule!) and check the conditions report for even more holiday magic heading your way.
If you haven't gotten your pass yet, never fear -- having the longest season in the East means that we'll be carving long after Christmas. You're already all in? Don't forget to take advantage of all your sweet passholder perks, from discounts on everything from snacks to summer at Camp Woodward.
Last Day for Lodging Steal
This is it, skiers and riders -- today is the last day to score our Powder to the Pillow package -- that's condos from $99 per night, midweek through May! We won't tell, last minute shoppers -- especially when your gift lasts well beyond the holidays.
Camps with the Champs
Looking for some special coaching for your little ski racer? Olympian Chelsea Marshall and her talented staff take the kids under a capable wing for holiday week race camps. And don't forget Mom and Dad -- gift a session with world-class athletes Donna Weinbrecht and Dan Egan for some turns to remember.
