FREE full-length ski and snowboard movie available to view online

Most freeride films these days cost about $30. If you'd rather spend that dough on a lift ticket and get a movie for free, it's time to check out www.solidpowder.com.

On October 30, the first of a three-part series was released in the web for free download, which features skiers and snowboarders from around the globe, doing both new-school and big-mountain riding. Locations include France, Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Alaska, Japan, Australia the U.S. and Finland. The flick is set to a soundtrack balanced by underground punk and hip-hop.

The downloads are free, with absolutely no catch to it, and each part is approximately 10 minutes long. Part II was made available for download on November 15th, and the third went down on November 22nd.

If you are interested in something new, something different and something more exciting, this is just for you: Different locations, different riders, different tricks, and all this is just a few mouse clicks away. In addition to free download of the film itself, you can also download the soundtrack (mp3-format) of the film straight to your computer.
The download is available in four different formats: low-res Divx, hi-res Divx, VCD NTSC and VCD PAL.
