TransWorld SNOWboarding Magazine recently released the highly anticipated results of its 2014 Resort Poll and we’re #3!

Every year TransWorld asks their readers who their favorite park is and out of 140 parks, you voted us third on the coveted list of the top ten parks in the country. According to TransWorld, the survey consisted of 28 categories ranking snow quality, grooming, park layout, park creativity, staff, crowds, and more.

“We call Bear Mountain the People’s Park. The fact that so many people voted for us as their top park is an honor,” said Rio Tanbara, Director of Marketing for Bear Mountain. “Every year, we strive to be better than ever,” said Tanbara. “From the diverse terrain parks to the snow quality to the park layout, we have everything that riders want, and the poll results show it. The people have spoken, and we’re thrilled. We’re looking forward to another great season here at Bear Mountain.”

The fifth and final episode of BearMaTioN is live on our YouTube and bringing you some more local talent, with Scott Vine leading the pack, along with Ian Sams and Johnny Miller. The last rider was one of last years “Sunday in The Park” standouts Denis Leontyev, who killed just about every rail we threw at him.

We have not set an opening date for the 2013-14 winter season. Once we get a cold front that allows us to begin making snow OR Mother Nature blesses us with a solid base we will have a better estimate to our opening day!
