Temperatures start to warm today with highs into the 40's through Thursday, and plenty of sun. Winds are calm today top to bottom so the weather will be beautiful. Then it starts to get breezy again up top starting Tuesday.
Models Looking Snowier Friday
Friday a cold trough may dig down the West Coast bringing colder and and significant snowfall into Friday night. This is a flip on the models today from the last few days, so don't get too excited yet. Let's see it continue to show up through tomorrow on the forecast models. This morning they show the trough digging further down the West Coast and pulling in more moisture Friday into Friday night with 1-2 feet of cold snow to the base.
Behind the storm the weekend looks like it may be cold and dry with highs in the 30's at base level and 20's on the mountains. We may see another snowstorm roll in for Christmas Night that could bring several more inches. The forecast models are in disagreement on whether or not this storm reaches us.
Next week may be slightly warmer and dry, or cold with several storms moving through. The forecast models are in disagreement on the pattern. If the trough holds together Sunday night into Monday then we may see snow and several light snow events next week. If the storm cuts off from the flow and sits off the coast all week it may be dry. Hopefully we see more agreement in the forecast soon.
