Fire Season

Snowboarding News | Monday August 28, 2017 | Shared By: Timberline Lodge and Ski Area" alt="mt hood smoke" width="1024" height="683" />

It’s fire season in the Pacific North West. While there is no fire threat near Timberline Lodge, wind and weather conditions can conspire to occasionally bring visible smoke into our area. While we are not in the position to be able to forecast wind direction and ever-changing atmospheric conditions, as a service to our guests, we are providing the following link to official fire updates and air quality trends.

If you have a respiratory condition, or are simply concerned about the amount of smoke in the air during your visit and would like to speak to someone here, please also feel free to call us at (503) 272-3311. While wildfires are a normal and natural occurrence during this time of year in the Mt. Hood National Forest, we appreciate your concern, and are here to answer any questions you may have.
