Join Roxy Girls on Saturday and Sunday, April 12 - 13, for Woodward Winter Camp. Open to both skiers and snowboarders, this camp is reserved for the ladies only. Winter Camps follow the same progression as the daily offered Freestyle Lessons – a half-day in the Woodward at Copper Barn and a half-day spent in Woodward’s award winning terrain parks –and each camp features free gear giveaways thanks to camp-specific partnerships with some of the hottest ski and snowboard brands in the industry. A Copper Spring Tradition Continues with Sunsation over two back-to-back Weekends – April 12 – 13
The first weekend of Sunsation features rail jam meets pond skim, the 3rd annual Red Bull Slopesoakers, on Saturday, April 12 at 11 a.m. Back by popular demand, this year’s course is expected to be bigger and better than ever before and prizes include $500 cash and 2014/2015 Copper Mountain Season Passes. Free live music kicks off with alternative country-rock headliner the Old 97’s at 2 p.m in Burning Stones Plaza, Center Village. The second weekend of Sunsation and Copper’s closing weekend kicks off with The Color Run’s first 5k race on-snow on Saturday, April 19. The course stretches across the resort and features color “throws” at each mile of the course, ensuring all runners are colorful from head to toe.
