Cloudy with some light rain showers possible and highs in the 50's today and Monday at the base, and 40's on the upper mountain. Winds gusting to 50 mph up top.
Colder & Air Snow Move In
Monday night a colder storm begins to move in. The precipitation should remain light Monday night with snow levels around 8000 feet, and then heavier precip Tuesday with snow levels falling to the base by late afternoon. We could see 1-3 inches of snow at the base, and 3-11 inches on the mountain by Tuesday night. Highs will be in the 30's on the mountains to low 40's at the base. Winds could gust to 70 mph up top on Tuesday.
We may see a bit of a break Tuesday night and then a weaker system Wednesday could bring another inch or two to the mountain.
Another break possible Thursday with with colder and and breezy conditions remaining. Then another winter storm should move in on Friday. Snow levels may rise to 7000 feet or just above Friday and then falling to the base Friday night. We could see several inches of snow on the mountain Friday and several more Friday night. Then a few inches possible next Saturday before the storm moves out. We could see over a foot of new snow on the mountain. Highs remain in the 30's on the mountain to low 40's at the base.
After a break next Sunday another storm could come far enough South for some snow Monday the 27th.
We could see another break in the storms starting on the 28th.
