Mountain Updates:

Due to current & forecast severe weather, Alyeska Resort will not open today. We plan to open the Ski Area at Noon tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 16) for skiing & riding operations. The Tram will upload & download skiers in order to access Glacier Bowl Express. We will also be operating the Bear Cub Quad, Wade's Way Magic Carpet and Finnland Magic Carpet. All lifts will open at Noon.

Regardless of the weather and if you are on the slopes or slopeside, Alyeska is always the hoppin’ place to be for winter adventure and fun, the activities and events never seem to stop! From ski films to concerts to races to game nights, Alyeska and the Sitzmark are never shy of activities to keep you busy. Apres Ski:

Tonight, Thursday the 15th is another night of registration at the Sitzmark for the Alyeska Coors Light Town League Race Series . Come to sign up beginning at 6 pm, get your team lined up or go solo, but be sure to make registration and stick around for the sounds of Jon Dykstra and Friends which is a FREE show kicking off at 7:30. Also coming up this weekend is another FREE weekend of music with Anchorage's very own Rabbit Creek Ramblers! Grab your partner and some dancing shoes and we'll see you at the Sitz! Headed for the slopes wanting to park right by the Sitzmark? New FREE slope side parking available to everyone! This new parking area is located at the base of the Bear Cub Quad. This new parking lot is open from 8am – 10pm daily. No overnight parking allowed. Access is via Crystal Mountain Road. This is the BEST mountainside parking at Alyeska!

January is a special month in the ski and snowboard world, so be sure to get in touch with the Mountain Learning Center for the annual Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month where Alyeska will be offering 3 Beginner Lessons for $99!
