BURLINGTON, VT (September 18, 2014) Leaves are falling, first snowfalls are happening and Burton’s best-in-class 2015 winter collection has landed in stores around the world. Blending next-level innovation, functionality and style, Burton’s new 2015 winter line of hardgoods, outerwear, apparel and accessories is the best yet, and has you covered for all your winter and riding needs.


First up, let’s dig into a few of the stand-out products from the new 2015 winter line. At the heart of every Burton winter collection are the new snowboards, boots and bindings. For this season, take a close look at the men’s Custom Twin, winner of a coveted Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award, the men’s Easy Livin, a collaboration project with guitar icon Martin & Co. and Danny Davis, and the women’s Talent Scout, a Snowboard Magazine Platinum Pick. Also big news on the boards’ front is that all Family Tree models have FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood cores and Mountain Dew® recycled PET top sheets. For guys and snowboarders who demand the best technical outerwear, check out the new men’s [ak] 2L Swash Jacket and [ak] 3L Freebird Bib Pant – both featuring industry-leading Gore-Tex® fabric. Other standouts include the Dunmore Jacket, an authentic, insulated workwear jacket backed by heavy-duty weather defense and the men’s Parker Jacket, which does double winter duty with a reversible style that features a canvas camo print on one side and a classic true black colorway on the other. The first segment stars Jussi Oksanen and Mikey Rencz – two mavericks at the forefront of backcountry freestyle riding.
