On October 10, the Boulder community rallied at ZEAL HQ for an amazing evening of presentations, raffles, a huge silent auction, a celebration of the 10th-anniversary of Snowboard Magazine, all to raise money to support the Boulder flood relief effort. At the end of the night, a couple hundred people walked away with some amazing gear and gift cards, helping ZEAL raise nearly $5,000 for the Foothills Flood Relief Fund.
“We believe that a strong community is made stronger through tough times,” said ZEAL President John Sanchez. “The floods severely impacted our community and as a business that is proudly Boulder based we wanted to get the community excited that Boulder is coming back.”
It’s been amazing to see the outpouring of support for the community, the camaraderie amongst locals, and the support from outside businesses, groups and people, and we’re honored to be a part of this vibrant town and help the short and long-term rebuilding needs by donating 100% of the money to the Foothills Flood Relief Fund, a group run by the United Way that partners with Downtown Boulder, and works with local non-profits.
