Mammoth Mountain has had a season that has been so far epic, with plentiful snowfall in the Eastern Sierras. As spring has reared its seasonal head, the Oakley crew headed to Mammoth for Oakley Week, a seven-day session that began with the Oakley Progressions Sessions women’s park camp, was bolstered by some new Unbound x Oakley park features and ended with the Oakley Minipipe Challenge (ie, there was a something for everyone, whether you were just familiarizing yourself with the layers of features in the Unbound parks or if you were a master of the miniscule transition offered up in the Forest Trail minipipe). Demos of Oakley Prizm goggle technology were available all day, too, with everything collectively kicking off a partnership between Oakley and Mammoth that will surely only grow in the coming seasons. Adding to the fray, Eero Ettala, Jamie Anderson, Sven Thorgren and Seb Toots headed to the famed California resort for the week, filmed a top-to-bottom episode of Legends of the Fall Line in Main Park and put down a heavy session on a brand new Oakley wallride–all this when they weren’t just lapping and casually decimating the Unbound park system. With sunny skies, a bit of fresh snow, and plenty of activities, it was a wicked week at Mammoth.
