Editor’s note: Each summer for the past five years, the Technine Team has held a Takeover Session at Windells Snowboard Camp. This crew is one of the most gregarious all summer, stoking campers out on hill with the hammer riding of Andrew Brewer, Dylan Thompson, Lucas Magoon, and more and holding banner summer activities like the annual Technine Doughnut Eating contest, which has been a staple at Windells for summers. This year, Alex Witzel headed to Oregon with the crew and captured the action.

The Technine Team headed to Windells to takeover Session 6. There was every kind of summer weather possible in that week, thanks to beautiful Oregon. Even on the off days when Timberline was closed, the Technine crew still wanted to get after it. The first day of hiking features in the public park in the rain yielded awesome sessions and good vibes with the whole crew. On day two, we ventured up to the Windells park, which happened to be just above the clouds. Later in the day, an unreal fog/lighting situation was created and we could only get so lucky to be in those conditions. We had the park to ourselves and epic clouds rolling in and out all day. It was tight. Next up, was two full days of shredding in the Windells park, full of features and fun as ever. Dodgeball night and the annual Technine donought-eating contest nights were a blast, hanging with campers fighting for a slew of gear from Technine an Jammy Pack. So stoked to be able to come out and enjoy the Takeover Session. See ya’ll next year!
