The 2015 edition of the Dew Tour continued into the evening on Friday, December 11th as the crowd of spectators headed downhill to the center of Breckenridge. A side street of the main drag had been closed down and a few tons of snow blanketed the ground. Keystone’s Kevin Laverty and his crew of diggers erected a unique street set up, bringing in an enormous storage container, multiple concrete Jersey barriers, a pint-sized bulldozer, a large butter pad, beam pole jams, and multiple corrugated tubes. In the tight space of the side street, the set up offered a multitude of options, with multiple trannies leading up to and away from each feature. The possibilities were plentiful and the assembled roster of riders represented a wide variety of snowboarding aesthetic. Colorado locals Dylan Alito, Seth Hill, and Austin Julik-Heine were joined by out of towners Johnny O’Connor, Nial Romanek and Darcy Sharpe. The drop order was rounded out by upstarts Nathan Cordero, Dash Kamp, Eric Beauchemin, and Josh Boeser.

From the first drop off the two-story tower into the street, the hunt for the good lines was on. Michigan native, Eric Beauchemin impressed spectators on the lower double barrel rail, while hometown favorite and fully altitude acclimated Seth Hill found plenty of speed to launch methods and backflips off the double corrugated feature in his personal celebration of the sixth night of Hanukkah. East Coaster Johnny O’Connor exhibited his usual proper and thorough snowboarding, only putting down tricks that were flush with that JOC easy style. Tahoe local, Nial Romanek was warming up for filming season with by seamlessly putting down tech maneuvers, including a front one switch nosepress switch back one out on the storage container. Dylan Alito, always up to no good, was igniting the night with tranny finders, 270s, and a 50-50 to frontflip. Dash Kamp rode cleanly, Austin Julik-Heine is always fun to watch snowboard and Nathan Cordero and Josh Boeser were charging all evening as well. In the end, Canadian Darcy Sharpe took his third-in-a-row win at the Dew Tour Street Style, putting down flawless tricks including a switch backside 360 on and off of the creeper.
