This past Saturday COMUNE and EASYRIDERS Magazine debuted “UNTITLED” at Paul Loya Gallery in Culver City.
The show was comprised of all original artwork found in the Easyriders Magazine archives some of which, dating back to the mag’s inception in 1971. A crowd of 300+ showed up to witness this integral part of motorcycle history and enjoy beverages from Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Jarritos and delicious food from ‘The Taco Guys’ while DJ’s Dave Frey and BOC made sure the vibes were proper all evening long.
Also on display at the event were a selection bad to the bone custom built motorcycles from- Mick Evangelista (Micks Chop Shop), Alboy (Blackboard Cafe), Wil Thomas (TRIco), Davey Cooperwasser, Yaniv (Powerplant Motorcycles), and BOC.
COMUNE would like to thank Cary Brobek and Joe Terese of EASYRIDERS MAGAZINE for making this whole project a reality, Paul Loya for letting a bunch of bikers invade his amazing gallery space, and everyone who came to the event and helped make it such a success!
The show will be up for the remainder of this week and Prints & Tee’s are still available to purchase if you couldn’t make it to the Opening Reception.
