With September bringing more than a few inches of snow to the Tetons, it is high time to start answering the most important question of the fall: How to get to Jackson Hole this winter? The answer is simple: It's the 4th Flies Free deal.
There are more than a few reasons to make 2011 the year to tick Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) off the bucket list.
Reason # 1: La Niña. Perhaps the best 2 words a Jackson Hole aficionado could ask for. La Niña is a weather pattern that favors heavy snow in the Tetons and has historically correlated with deep powder. The last la Niña winter was 2007/2008-locally referred to as 2007/2000great when over 700" of snow accumulated before the faucet finally turned off in June.
