How it works:

FOR MEN AND WOMEN HALFPIPE AND SLOPESTYLE: Any one that wants to enter the Men's and Women's Qualifiers at the Australian Open has to register online for the Registration Waitlist. Registration will be open from May 1, 2008 to July 15, 2008 5:00 PM (AUS Time).

All BGOS events are using a common registration system, provided by our data handling partner EIM Solutions. To register for an event, you have to have a user account in the registration system. User accounts do NOT expire. If you already registered for a BGOS or any other TTR event last season, you will most likely already have an account for the registration system. If you do not remember your password, you can request it online or contact us anytime. DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT IF A SYSTEM MESSAGE TELLS YOU THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT. Contact us and we will provide your login details. As an existing user, please update your personal information before you register for an event. The personal information provided on your account will be used for your profile on the BGOS website, to provide event announcers with information about you and to list you on the BGOS standings. The more accurate information you provide, the better for you!

As a new user, please click on the link at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions to create a new account. You will receive a username and password by email. On your account, you can manage all your personal data, including bio, sponsors, contacts.

To register for a new event, you only have to log-in again, make sure that your personal information is still current and select an event to register for. The personal information provided on your account will be used for your profile on the BGOS website, to provide event announcers with information about you and to list you on the BGOS standings. The more accurate information you provide, the better for you!

If we receive more registrations per format than the number of pre-qualification spots available, riders will be selected from the Registration Waitlist based on their BGOS standings/results and their TTR standings/results, with priority given to the riders with the best standings/results.

On or before July 20, you will be notified VIA EMAIL (and only email) if your registration has been successful and that your entry for the Australian Open Halfpipe and/or Slopestyle Pre-Qualifiers is confirmed.
At that time, your c-card will be charged immediately for the applicable registration fee.

If you are not selected from the Registration Waitlist, you will be notified as well VIA EMAIL and your name will remain on the Registration Waitlist. In case we receive cancellations from the selected riders, you will be notified immediately.

Who Must Register: All riders must register online regardless if they are an invited rider or an open class rider. Riders that did not get a special invite to the Semi finals, MUST compete in the Qualifiers.
Note to Returning Riders: The top 8 women and 16 men from the 2007 AUSO Finals in halfpipe and slopestyle will get an automatic invite to the 2008 AUSO semifinals for that same event.

Other Important Info:

DO NOT CONTACT EVENT ORGANIZERS REGARDING YOUR STATUS. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL IF YOU WERE SELECTED.

Waitlists: Once all available spots are filled and announced for all of the events, all registrants names will remain on the Registration Waitlist. People will then be taken off the waitlist as spots become available and will be notified via email (priority will be given to the riders with the best BGOS standings/results and their TTR standings/results). Do NOT contact Event Organizers regarding your waitlist status as that info will not be given out.

Payments:
Registration ins only possible with a valid credit card. There will be no exceptions. If you do not own a credit card, you can ask your parents or one of your friends to help you with the event registration.
Once you got a confirmed spot on the startlist, your card will be immediately charged. PLEASE NOTE: By registering for the waitlist at any BGOS event, you express your interest to compete in this event. If you do not withdraw/cancel before the registration deadline (June 17th), you will be charged with the entry fee when you get selected from the waitlist. Charges for entry fees will appear on your statements as "eim-solutions.com". EIM Solutions is the data handling provider for the New Zealand Open.

If you have a confirmed spot for the Qualifiers but can't make it to the event for any reason, please free up your spot for another rider and inform us as soon as you can by e-mail AUSOreg@burton.com
