Hannah Teter Claim Top Spots in First Qualifier on the Road to Torino

After first places finishes Wednesday in the first Chevrolet U.S.
Snowboard Grand Prix, Hannah Teter and Shaun White are one step
closer to Torino and the Winter Games.
Breckenridge's Grand Prix is the first of four qualifying events
that will determine the U.S. Olympic Snowboard Team.
On the women's side, Gretchen Bleiler and Elena Hight joined Teter
on the podium. |

For the men, White
was accompanied by Olympic gold medalist Ross Powers and U.S. snowboarding
rookie team member Scott Lago.
The nation's snowboarders will a take to Breckenridge's pipe again Friday
with men's qualifiers for the second halfpipe contest of the week get
underway.
On Saturday, spectators will be able to watch the women's qualifiers,
followed by both finals for men and women beginning at 12 p.m. MT.
The snowboard action heads to downtown Breckenridge Saturday evening
with a quarter pipe exhibition under the lights and live music by Digital
Underground.
