Black Matte L
I previously had the 2008 Hi-Fi with build in skullcandys, then I got a concussion, so it was pretty much useless.THEN, last year I received this as an early Christmas present. With the REDphones, it works perfect. Awesome fit, warm, keeps the wind out, and most of all, VERY comfortable. If you are willing to spend another $40 for the Hi-Fi, go ahead, but you can't go wrong with the Trace. RED and burton products continue to impress, once again.
Solid. No frills.
I've had a Trace II for a few years. It's a fine helmet. No frills. Nothing special. Feels very safe & solid. The fit is round and roomy for big heads like mine (as opposed to oval or pinching at the top). The fact that the removable clip opens upward (in the direction a goggle strap would slide) renders it pretty useless. Apparently all Anon (read: Burton) goggles securely attach to the clip. The round, smooth helmet makes it really easy for goggles to squirt/slip off so a clip is necessary. This can easily be mitigated by attaching a rubber band to the clip.
Great for the price.
It's a nice helmet and its comfortable.and the red phones are really nice but it was a pain when my smith goggle frames were to big and it was a pain to adjust all the time
