Loved my old Rome Marshalls, i.e. the heel lock was legit for heel lift. However they are old and not made anymore so I still had faith in trying a different rome boot. I felt the libertines were stiff and very bulky. I only used them 2 times until I canned them. These are not broke-in out of the box.

These boots are awesome... With the skate inspired liner and heel cup i have had zero problems with heel lift or pressure points... The Tounge of the boot is hooked up to the inner lace of the liner for an even better sinch around your ankle and the flex is right in the middle of Soft and stiff. Once you break these bad boys in there one of the most comfortable and responsive boots ever. Not to mention there super light for how many features they have.
