All in all a good rack. My only real complaint was that if you line up the L/R labels on both the front and rear racks, they end up opening on opposite sides of the car. Not a huge deal, I just flipped the rear one around so everything opened from the driver side. Other things to consider is it's designed to mount to those flat yakima or thule bars...which I didn't know when I bought it (I have round bars on my wrangler). I just tightened em down a little and they werent going anywhere once the skis were in. Not a problem, just something to consider. Other than that I dig 'em! Lockers work well, the thing is easy to mount/remove, and you can only do so if the rack is unlocked/open, so you dont hafta worry about anyone jacking them on ya. Good stuff!

This rack is great. We have a Ford Escape, fit perfect to our factory rack. Had 2 sets of skis, snowboard, and poles from Chicago to Colorado and back.

It works, It's cheap, It locks.

Used this rack all season and it has worked great. The most I ever had in it was 4 pairs of skis, possibly would fit 5 but I'd say 6 is a bit optimistic. Maybe 6 pair of skis from the 80's would fit.I bought this rack because it has locks and they have not disappointed me. I think once they almost froze but I was able to unlock them anyways. When you see Thule and Yakima racks at 2x the cost it's a no brainer.
