I've been using this suit since December and the water temps in N. Florida have not yet dropped below the 60s. Having said that, this suit is drier, warmer and more flexible than any suit I have ever owned in my 30-plus years of surfing and diving. My previous surf wetsuits include O'Neal, Xcel, Body Glove and Rip Curl. The new attached zipper system holds out more water and is easer to open and close than the detached front zip system. It is a little difficult to get your upper body out of the suit after a sesson. If you can find one these in your size at the DogFunk sale price, it's well worth it. I could not and paid considerable higher, but I'm still satisfied with the purchase so far. I got the wrong size on the first order and DogFunk return and exchange process was flawless. I'm 5'11 and 160 and settled for the ML. The M was too tight for me.
I'm a faithful Xcel fan, and when I saw this on sale here I picked it up right away since my old Infinity X-zip is pushing 4 yrs old and showing wear and tear. I actually first tried this suit in North Florida as well, and it's awesome. Very flexible, and let very little water in after a 2.5 hour session. I bought the black/black suit, but it had gray xcel logos (?). I am 5'6 140 and the S size was perfect.
