I know it's abnormal, but I actually use mine. I have one of the longe ones that comes up around my calf. It's not a pain really to hook in especially when you consider that we are constantly clicking bindings. The best part of my leash is when I'm off the mountain though. You can loop the one end through your bindings and use the leash to carry the board over your shoulder. It has to be more comfortable then carrying it under your arm, but I don't see a lot of other people doing it where leashes arent required.
